Following the Covid-19 outbreak in Muhanga, Rwamagana and Nyarugenge Prisons, Bugesera Prison located in Bugesera district also confirmed 13 Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, November 25.

On the same day, nine people tested positive for Covid-19 in Kigali, four people in Musanze district, two in Gatsibo district and one in Rubavu district.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health reported the recovery of 76 people.

The latest update was obtained from 2,583 Covid-19 sample tests taken in the last 24 hours.

So far, Rwanda has confirmed 5,779 Covid-19 cases. Of these, 5,317 have already recovered.

47 people have so far succumbed to Covid-19 in Rwanda.

The country has so far carried out 614,267 Covid-19 tests.
