Rwanda reports 24 more Covid-19 cases

Twenty-four people tested positive for Covid-19 in Rwanda on Tuesday, November 24.

Of the new infections, according to the Ministry of Health, 10 were identified in Muhanga Prison, whereas Rubavu district confirmed four infections.

Nyagatare district and Kigali confirmed a single Covid-19 case each.

Meanwhile, Nyanza, Musanze, Rusizi and Bugesera districts reported two new Covid-19 cases each.

The results were drawn from 2,317 sample tests collected in the last 24 hours.

Overall, the country has conducted 611,684 sample tests.

So far, in total, Rwanda has confirmed 5,750 Covid-19 cases. Of these, 5,241 have already recovered.

The country's Covid-19 death toll currently stands at 47.
