Rwanda registers another Covid-19 fatality

A 78-year-old man succumbed to Covid-19 in Rwanda, on Tuesday, November 17.

So far, Rwanda's Covid-19 death toll stands at 46.

On the same day, out of 3,051 sample tests collected in the last 24 hours, 16 people tested positive for Covid-19.

Of the new infections, three were identified in Kigali, two in Kirehe District and four in Rubavu District. 

Muhanga and Rwamagana districts also confirmed a single Covid-19 infection each, whereas Nyagatare and Rusizi districts reported three and two positive cases respectively.

So far, Rwanda has confirmed 5,507 Covid-19 cases of whom 5,008 have already recovered.

591,585 Covid-19 sample tests have been conducted so far.
