Rwanda reports 7 new Covid-19 infections

Out of 1,917 Covid-19 tests conducted on Thursday, November 12, seven people tested positive for the virus in Rwanda, the Ministry of Health has announced.

This raised the tally of the country’s Covid-19 confirmed cases to 5,319. Of these, 4,974 have already recovered.

The new infections were identified in Kigali, Nyagatare and Rubavu districts, where four, one and two positive cases were reported respectively.

Rwanda’s Covid-19 death toll so far stands at 41, after more five people succumbed to the virus between Monday and Wednesday this week.

The country has so far carried out 579,653 Covid-19 tests.
