Five new Covid-19 infections reported in Rwanda

Five people tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday, November 7, according to results from 2,859 tests carried out in the last 24 hours in Rwanda.

According to the Ministry of Health, of the new cases, four were detected in Kigali and another one in Rubavu District.

Though no recovery was reported on Saturday, statistics by the ministry show that 95 percent of all confirmed cases in the country have already recovered.

The tally of confirmed cases is 5,213 of whom 4,953 have already recovered.

568, 868 tests of the Virus have been conducted up to date.

Meanwhile, so far, 36 people have succumbed to Covid-19 in Rwanda.
