Corporate Moves: MTN Rwanda’s CTO heads to Facebook

Fabrice Ndatira who has been serving as MTN Rwanda Chief Technology Officer is leaving the telcom to join popular social media network Facebook, Doing Business has gathered.

Ndatira has been working at MTN Rwanda since August 2018.

Prior to that, he worked at Airtel Rwanda as Chief Technology Information Officer (CTIO) following its acquisition merger with Tigo Rwanda.

The engineer had worked at Tigo beginning 2009 in multiple positions starting at core planning engineer, later as core planning manager before serving as the head of strategic quality in 2015. In 2016 he moved to head of engineering and later become CTIO in the same year.

Ndatira was in the inaugural class of African Leadership University School of Business with a Masters of Business Administration graduating in 2018.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Rwanda in engineering (Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering).
