Elections are top on the agenda in today’s Rwanda Cricket Association (RCA)’s extra-ordinary general assembly at Nyarutarama Tennis Club. According to RCA’s president Charles Haba, positions to be contested for include Vice president and general secretary.

"These positions have fallen vacant because those initially in charge stepped down,” he said.

The assembly will also focus on ironing out other burning issues like; RCA finding a new ground, RCA’s contract with Cricket without Boundaries (CWB), and the way forward for Rwandan cricket.

RCA’s activities have been hampered since last year when the association lost their Kicukiro cricket ground to Ferwafa. The football association constructed an artificial turf on the ground ahead of the 2009 U-20 African Nations Championships which were hosted in Rwanda back in January.
