It's a tough time for the music industry right now, but as Rwanda celebrates the 26th anniversary of Liberation Day, here's your guide to some of the virtual musical shows to help you enjoy the day.

Iwacu Muzika festival

Legendary musician Masamba Intore will headline the second edition of Iwacu Muzika festival this evening.

Masamba, 52, whose music played a major role in boosting the morale of the Rwanda Patriotic Army (RPA) fighters during the liberation struggle, is set to perform most of his popular liberation tracks at the festival to give his performance a relevance to the celebrations.

The singer will perform alongside the national traditional ballet Urukerereza, and aspiring traditional singer Paccy Rutabingwa.

Taking place in the digital realm this time around, audiences will enjoy a diverse range of live performances from some of Rwanda's talented artistes from 8.45pm live on Rwanda Television.

"Inkera Yo Kwibohora" concert

Traditional singer and dancer, Ibrahim Cyusa is gearing up for his show dubbed, ‘Inkera yo Kwibohora’, which will be live on his YouTube channel from 7pm-9pm.

The singer will perform alongside Inkera cultural troupe.

Nel Ngabo’s debut album launch

Fast-rising R&B singer Nel Ngabo is set to launch his 13-track album dubbed, ‘Ingabo’, as a dedication to the Rwanda Patriotic Army fighters.

The singer will host his album launch from 6pm-7pm via MK1 TV, an online entertainment television.
