Olivier Kwizera joined Gasogi United last December on a six-month deal from South African side Free State Stars.

Rayon Sports have closed in on signing Rwanda international Olivier Kwizera from Gasogi United.

The goalie admitted the development in an interview with Times Sport on Sunday, but also revealed that his current club Gasogi are also in race to offer him a new contract.

"The talks with Rayon are positive, a deal could be reached in the near future,” said Kwizera.

He added: "I have held talks with many other teams including Gasogi itself, but Rayon stand out so far. They are a big club that I would also be happy to play for.”

Kwizera, who previously played for local giants APR, joined Gasogi last December on a six-month deal from South African side Free State Stars.

Meanwhile, Rayon are also reportedly in final negotiations with Muhadjiri Hakizimana and the former APR forward could soon sign a one-year deal for a fee in the region of Rwf15 million and a monthly earning of Rwf1.2 million.
