Traditional singer Jules Sentore says he has shelved plans to launch his planned album due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The singer had scheduled his concert to launch his album "Inganzo yaratabaye” for July 2020 but now it seems unlikely as the country continues to observe measures to avert the spread of the New Coronavirus.

Sentore has now started compiling songs for another album with a plan to launch two of them at the same time on the concert day that was pushed to December.

This is with an optimism that the virus shall have been contained for the entertainment industry to come back to life, according to the ‘Ngera’ singer.

Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, Sentore released his latest gospel single dubbed ‘Urera’ featuring Yvan Ngenzi.

"My hope is that this virus can be mitigated as soon as possible. This is beneficial to me personally, my fans and the Rwandese at large. I will then launch my two albums in one mega-concert I am preparing if the situation gets better,” Sentore told The New Times.

The artiste said that 10-15 songs will be featured on his own songs as well as various collabos he has made with some artists and producers.

The Warakoze hit maker has won hearts of cultural and R&B music genres backed by his strong vocals.

He boasts of songs like Udatsikira, Ruca Imana, Kora Akazi Akayama and many more featuring other artistes.
