Money Heist

The Spanish series ‘Money Heist’ (La Casa Da Papel) season 4 was released recently and received many positive reviews. It is among the most watched series on Netflix.

It revolves around a group of people pulling off carefully planned heists. They begin by printing their own money at the Royal Mint of Spain and in further seasons, the group pulls out another heist at Reserve Bank of Spain.

Self-made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J Walker

The drama limited series was launched in March 2020. It is about an African American washerwoman who rises from poverty to build a beauty empire. It was inspired by the true story of the first African American self-made millionaire in 1910s.

The Platform

This is a gruesome tale of class struggle, and a thoroughly entertaining thriller. It’s about a place called "The Hole” where each day, a gourmet meal is served to residents of the first floor on a platform. As the platform moves down, the people on the floors underneath eat the leftovers of the people above them.

It is entertaining and politically charged. It’s about people’s basic needs and what happens when the system we live in fails to meet those needs.

Miracle in Cell No. 7

Story of a mentally-ill father who was wrongly accused of the murder of a commander’s daughter. Separated from his daughter, the father must prove his innocence when he is jailed. The movie takes you on a journey through every emotion; injustice, love, conspiracy — sprinkled with comedy.
