Sunday

UNR v BUG

Rusizi v Espoir

APR v ISAE

KIST v KIE

An intriguing game is almost inescapable when CSK A and Marine face-off at Amahoro indoor stadium. Both clubs have had flying starts in the second round after registering comprehensive wins.

Gisenyi’s Marine has registered easy wins over ISAE and Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) while CSK A, on top of their 100% first round show crushed KIST in their first second round tie.

It is the first major test for CSK A since losing their sensational pivot Robert Thomson. The star-pivot relocated to Romania shortly after the 2007 Afro-basket competitions that were staged in Angola.

Both clubs are level at the top of Pool A with12 points and whoever wins today’s tie will maintain their command at the top. In the other pool A tie, defending champions APR are expected to face little resistance against ISAE.

APR know that they have to win comprehensively after flying starts by Marine and CSK A in the second round.
The army-side with nine points trails the duo by three points.

In Pool B, Espoir play Rusizi tomorrow while Basketball United Generation (BUG) is away to Rwanda National University (UNR).

In the ladies’ category, table leaders APR travel to UNR this afternoon before playing debutants FAWE tomorrow.
