AMAVUBI Stars midfielder Djihad Bizimana is searching for a new club, Times Sport has learnt.

The Waasland Beveren (Belgium) mid-fielder has revealed that a move this summer looks imminent as his agent is talking to some new clubs.

"My agent has offers from a number of clubs but I have to wait see what my priorities are. I can’t reveal much right now but I’m sure a deal will be finalized and I will tell you if everything goes through Bizimana admitted

Media reports suggest Beveren FC are among the clubs looking for Bizimana’s signature.

The former Rayon Sports and APR midfielder signed a three year deal with Belgian first division side Waasland-Beveren but the club has been relegated to second division after it finished bottom of the Belgian first division league.

"It would be difficult for me to play in the second division with the offers before me. Also, a new club will be good stepping stone for reviving my career.”

"The talks with other clubs are promising but I will not talk about those teams before things are sorted out, I have to wait until we finalise everything but I don’t see myself playing for this club next season.”

Bizimana is a youth product of Etincelles FC where he joined at the age of 15 before joining Rayon Sports and then APR FC.

On 26 April 2018, he joined Waasland-Beveren from APR FC and made his professional debut for the club in a 2-2 Belgian First Division tie with S.V. Zulte Waregem on 28 July 2018.
