APR have continued their bid for ‘invincibles’ record after thumping Mukura 4-0 at Huye Stadium on Saturday.

Strikers Innocent Nshuti and Lague Byiringiro, Kevin Ishimwe and full-back Fitina Omborenga were all the on the target with one goal each as the army side noticeably dominated Huye-based Mukura to stretch their unbeaten run to 22 matches this season.

With the win, Mohamed Adil Erradi’s APR now have 54 points, seven ahead of second-placed Rayon Sports who fought back from a goal down to beat Musanze 2-1 at Kigali Stadium.

Ghanaian Michael Sarpong and Ernest Sugira scored the Blues to deny Musanze who had opened the scoring through Onesme Twizerimana after just 20 minutes.

With eight match rounds to go, leaders APR need to win six – supposing that rival contenders don't slip-up – to clinch their record-extending 18th Rwanda Premier League title.
