Having operated in Rwanda since 2019, Simba Voyages Ltd, a travel, leisure, and Tourism Company located at KBC Kimihurura, celebrated their first anniversary in style, amidst partying and dining with their friends and esteemed clients.

The event that took place on Friday 28, from 8:00 pm, was stunned by the band, food, and drinks, and aimed at appreciating partners and customers of Simba Voyages Ltd for being supportive and even promised to offer better services to them.

While addressing the audience at the occasion that was held at KBC, the Guest of Honor, Frank Gisha Mugisha who is the Director-General Chamber of Tourism Rwanda recognized Simba Voyages Ltd for the courage of choosing Rwanda and giving direction to other investors.

Mugisha, called upon this tour company to go further in boosting the travel business and even attract more visitors to Rwanda.

"The chamber of Tourism under Private Sector Federation is willing to offer you support in capacity building, destination management and all other means that will encourage the growth of Rwanda’s tourism,” he noted.

Since Simba Voyages Ltd won the award for New Leading Travel Agency in 2019, Mugisha encouraged its management to keep up the spirit and most of all, maintain the code of ethics.

According to Mukesh Moolchandani, the Managing Director of Simba Voyages Ltd, the target of the company is to attract tourists all over the world to Rwanda, as he believes this will be possible if much emphasis is put on games and sports tourism as well.

"We are working tirelessly to provide the best service delivery to our customers because they are our bosses,” he claimed.

He further noted that the travel company is looking forward to keeping a long-lasting relationship with their customers through providing them with the best travel experience, first-class services and meeting all their travel needs.

"Our services are a mixture of everything related to tourism, for instance; international and domestic flights, holiday packages, car rentals, airport transfers, protocol services, hotel booking, visa assistance, travel insurance, cruise booking, wildlife safaris, beach holidays, event management, and so forth,” Moolchandani explained.

For some time, there has been a raffle draw that has been taking place at Simba Voyages Ltd, where customers stood chances of winning lots of prices, the more they purchased tickets.

During the anniversary event, the fluky winners were announced and awarded prizes like house lamps, mobile phones, tickets to Dubai, Singapore and India, and a BMW car. 

Eloge Butera, is a Rwandan Lawyer who won the BMW car. He couldn’t hold his excitement of finally having a car of his own, yet without spending any money on it.

He said that at least he can give a rest to his mother’s cars that he always borrows since he hadn’t bought his own car yet.

Butera bought a ticket to Israel recently to attend his friends’ wedding. Little did he know that his name was written on a coupon immediately, just like any other clients of Simba Voyages who purchased the tickets. They entered the draw. Luck knocked on his door when he won the car. 

Although he wasn’t in Rwanda yet by the time prizes were awarded, his car was just on standby, ready for him to drive it away.

He landed in Rwanda on 5 March, from Canada and he immediately headed at Simba Voyages offices where he was offered his car.

Alongside his mother, they both posed for photos in amusement. Butera promised to be a usual client of Simba Voyages Ltd as he saw the act of kindness offered, which was not so usual with other Tourism Companies.

According to Rakesh Giri, the Country Manager of Simba Voyages, such raffles are a way the company markets, gives back to their customers and attract new clients in and outside Rwanda.

"What makes us stand out is the special care we give to our clients. For example, we remind them a day before they travel about the time of their flights to make sure they don’t miss out on the flights or panic at the last minute,” he stressed.

He added that in case a client wishes to change their flights for different reasons, Simba Voyages Ltd does so for them with ease and on top of that, they enable the clients to have an easy movement.

"We are ready to take part in any event that requires the sponsorship of tickets. We are reliable, trustworthy, and culturally diverse,” he stated.

Apart from Rwanda, Simba Voyages Ltd also operates in Bamako, Kampala, Kinshasa, and Goma. It was established in 2016 with expertise of more than three years in the tourism industry.
