Friday REG Vs Espoir 20:00 APR Vs IPRC–Kigali 21:00

Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will be looking for a vital win to stay top in the BK Basketball National League when they face Espoir Friday night at NPC Gymnasium.

The game starts at 8pm.

Ahead of the two sides’ crunch, REG, champions of the 2016-17 league season, lead the table with 17 points out of a possible 18, while former giants Espoir are fifth-placed with 12.

Speaking to Times Sport on Thursday, REG skipper Ali Kazingufu Kubwimana urged his teammates to have ‘full concentration’ in an effort to avoid another setback after losing 61-55 to APR last Friday.

"We cannot afford any mistake, not after what happened last Friday,” said the star point guard.

He further added: "We had time to review our defeat and picked lessons from the game. Espoir are a solid team, we must have a good level of concentration and determination to prevent another loss.”

Hopefuls REG have only lost once after nine games into the 2019/2020 season.

In another game, fourth-placed IPRC–Kigali will be up against APR at 9pm, at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.
