Rwanda Vs Congo-Brazzaville 3pm

Rwanda take on Congo-Brazzaville in a warm-up match this afternoon at Amahoro Stadium as the national team steps up preparations for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2020 finals.

This will be the second international friendly match within one week following Amavubi’s goalless draw against Cameroon, in Yaoundé, on Monday.

"We learned a lot from the first game, and we will be trying to correct some mistakes and do better at home against Congo-Brazzaville,” Vincent Mashami, Amavubi head coach, told Times Sport on Thursday.

Scheduled for April 4-25 in Cameroon, Rwanda will be making a fourth appearance in the CHAN finals tournament this year, and the third a row since hosting the 2016 edition.

Rwanda makes Group C at this year’s CHAN finals, alongside powerhouse and holders Morocco, regional rivals Uganda and debutants Togo.
