Editor,
Farmers should use the good rains we experience in Rwanda, to produce more crops for both home consumption and to sell overseas.

Other parts of the world have relatively low rains and can thus explain why they do not produce enough food, but Rwanda has nothing to complain about.

Food is among the most basic needs for human beings. Consequently, food production, distribution, and consumption are perhaps the most important economic activities we must focus on in Rwanda as elsewhere in the world.

Furthermore, there should be innovations in food production, so that farmers become more skilled in crop and animal production. The major aim being, ending poverty and hunger in the country.
