The race for the Rwanda Premier League title continues Sunday afternoon as champions Rayon Sports host Sunrise at Kigali Stadium as APR take a trip to AS Muhanga, at Muhanga Stadium, for their match-day 20 fixtures.

The games get underway at 3pm.

Rayon will be on a must-win mission seeking to keep pace with leaders APR and hopefuls Police who are now second, with 43 points, after beating Heroes 3-1 on Saturday.

Should AS Muhanga stun APR and Alain Kirasa’s Rayon win, only two points will be separating 17-time champions APR and Police who would slide back to third place.

Ahead of their Sunday action, Rayon are third with 41 points, 13 ahead of eighth-placed Sunrise.

On the other hand, APR will be looking to extend their unbeaten run this season when they visit AS Muhanga. After 19 matches, the army side have 45 points, having won 13 times and registered six draws.

In other matches, Marines take on AS Kigali at Umuganda Stadium whereas Musanze will be up against Espoir at Ubworoherane Stadium.
