Saturday

Heroes Vs Police 15:00

Etincelles Vs Bugesera 15:00

Gicumbi Vs Kiyovu 15:00

Gasogi Vs Mukura 15:00

Rwanda Premier League hopefuls Police could reduce the deficit between themselves and APR to two points when they visit relegation-bound Heroes on Saturday.

Kick-off 3pm, at Bugesera Stadium.

Victory would move Police to second with 43 points, two adrift of leaders APR and two ahead of reigning champions Rayon Sports.

However, the boost would be short-lived should APR and Rayon win their respective matches on Sunday when APR play away to AS Muhanga while Rayon will be hosting Sunrise at Kigali Stadium.

Speaking to this publication on Friday, Police head coach Francis Haringingo cautioned his players not to be complacent against struggling Heroes.

He said: "It is very important that we stay focused, and give no room for complacency. Earning all the points is a must. The winning mentality is there and all the boys are in good shape.”

But, he also admitted: "It is going to be a tricky match against a team that is fighting to avoid relegation.”

Ahead of the match, Heroes are 14th-placed at 15 points, level with Espoir who are second from bottom. Gicumbi are bottom with 12 points.

In other matches on Saturday, Etincelles host Bugesera at Umuganda Stadium, Gicumbi take on SC Kiyovu at Mumena Stadium, while Gasogi United will be up against Mukura at Kigali Stadium.

All the matches get underway at 3pm CAT.
