POLICE will have little room for error when they face Musanze in the return leg of their Peace Cup first round on Wednesday afternoon after losing the first leg last week.

The law enforcers side host Musanze at Kigali Stadium, starting at 3p.m, with the latter having a narrow 1-0 advantage from the two sides’ first leg.

A draw will be enough for Musanze to reach the second round at the expense of Francis Haringingo’s side who won the 2015 Peace Cup.

"The puzzle is simple and tricky at the same time, we must win or face early elimination. There is no shortcut.” Haringingo said in an interview with this publication on Tuesday.

"It would be embarrassing if we bow out from the first round,” added the Burundian tactician who guided Mukura to their 2018 Peace Cup glory after beating Rayon Sports in the final.

Rayon face second tier side Intare in the second leg with a foot into the next round after thrashing Intare 4-0 in last Wednesday’s first leg.

Record eight-time winners, APR, also face an uphill task to hang onto their 1-0 first leg advantage as they travel to Ngoma District for their second-leg against Etoile de l’Est.
