Gospel duo is set to host debut concert

Since joining the music industry a year ago, James and Daniella Rutagarama have finally announced their debut concert.

The couple is set to host their first concert, dubbed "Mpa amavuta” on March 1, at Kigali Arena.  

"Music fans should expect nothing short of great performances, because everything is set for the show, and all performers are ready to entertain revelers on that day,” said Rutagarama.

After releasing their hit song "Mpa amavuta” early last year, the music duo have been phenomenal and consistent in their music delivery. They have won the hearts of many with their excellent stage craft and soothing voices.

The couple has been married for four years, with two children, and have been singing in several choirs including, Joyous Melody of Four Square Church in Kimironko and in True Promises, one of the most popular choirs in Rwanda.

The show will also feature performances by some of the top gospel music couples such as, Dorcas and Papy Clever, Maya and Fabrice, Chance and Ben, as well as Amanda and Kavutse.

The concert starts at 3pm, and tickets at Rwf5000 (silver), Rwf10, 000 (gold) and Rwf20, 000 (platinum).
