Beach volleyball: Sierra Leone to host second round qualifiers for Tokyo 2020

The Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) has confirmed Sierra Leone as the host nation for the upcoming second round qualifiers in men's beach volleyball for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The qualification tournament is scheduled for March 26-30.

Rwanda’s select two teams have been placed in Pool D along with hosts Sierra Leone, Egypt, Togo and Mali.

From the five countries, only the top two will advance to the third and final round qualifiers, which will also double as the 2020 Beach Volleyball Africa Cup of Nations.

Rwanda advanced to the second round after dominatingsub-zone 6 in the first round in Eritrea last month.
