2019 Groove Awards nominees revealed

Winners of the 2019 Groove Awards will be awarded on January 19.

As the year comes to an end, Groove Awards will be awarding gospel artistes producers, and showbiz personalities that have done an outstanding job in the gospel industry.

Now in its seventh edition, the nominations comprise of contestants who have registered themselves, voted by Media practitioners, producers and are lovers of the worship music.

Evans Mwendwa, the team leader of the Groove Rwanda group told The New Times that there is a big group expected to decide who shall win.

He revealed that the final votes shall be casted upon by the panel of judges made up of Noel Nkundimana, Issa Noël Kalinijabo, Nzahoyankuye Peace Nicodem, Mupende Gideon Ndayishimiye, Mama Kenzo and Dj Spin.

The categories that have to be nominated and voted by the panel of judges include: The best Diaspora artiste, The best sound producer, The best video producer, The best gospel journalist of the year, The best song writer and The best gospel artistes’ supporter.

On the evening of January 19, the winners for all the categories will be announced and awarded.
