Barely after a year without a concert Healing Worship Team, a gospel worship group, based in Gikondo is set to launch its maiden live show, dubbed Christmas celebration live concert.

Known for songs like Mwami icyo wavuze, Nta misozi, Komesha uoga and urufatiro among others, Healing Worship Team has promised their fans an amazing show on Christmas Day at Dove Hotel, Gisozi, starting at 3pm.

The event will also feature performances from incredibly talented renowned gospel teams and artistes such as Gisubizo ministries, Alarm Ministries, Bosco Nshuti, and Prosper Nkomezi according to Rumenge Etienne, the Healing Worship Team president.

Pastor Aaron Ruhimbya of Kimisagara’s Restoration church will also grace the show.

In an interview with Rumenge, they have a lot they owe to the Lord thus the suitable time for such a concert, which they will use to unveil some of their songs on their upcoming album. These include Ijwi ryanjye, Sinabona amagambo, among others.

"We owe the protection and our life to the Lord, more reason to organise such a merry concert. We are also launching our new five songs composed this year”, Rumenge said.

He expressed confidence that the launch would be a success and propel the group to greater heights adding that they are "getting set” and expect to announce the venue in a week’s time.

Entrance fee is Rwf3, 000 on pre-sale and Rwf5, 000 at the gate for regular and Rwf10, 000Frw for VIP. The VVIP table will go for Rwf120, 000 which will come with a free MANGO monthly 4G subscription.

Healing Worship Team is a choir affiliated to Power of Prayer Church in Kicukiro and was established in 2009.
