The 2019 East and Central Africa handball federation (ECAHF) senior club championship comes to an end Saturday with a thriller between local giants Police and APR in what will be the title decider.

The highly anticipated clash starts 12pm at Amahoro Stadium.

This is the second time the two sides are facing off in the tournament after APR narrowly edged Police 38-37 in the preliminary round on Tuesday.

APR reached the final with a perfect 3:0 record after beating Police, Gicumbi and Zanzibar side Nyuki in the preliminaries, while Police advanced to the title match courtesy of their two wins against Nyuki and Gicumbi.

Police look to reclaim the title following their 2015 success, when the tournament was also held in Kigali, while APR battle for their historic first title of the regional tournament.

In the women’s category, the final pits Rwanda’s UR-Rukara against Nairobi Water of Kenya, starting at 10am – same venue.
