If you’re in Kigali this weekend, and in the mood for a surreal musical experience, we got you sorted. On November 29, all roads will lead to Syria Rehan Gisimenti in Remera for the monthly silent disco bash.

The event will kick off at 6p.m, as some of Kigali’s renowned DJs take turns to entertain partygoers until dawn.

The quiet clubbing crowd will also enjoy barbecue at 20 per cent discounts as the evening winds down. Silent disco is a new trend in Kigali that allows people to decide the songs to listen to. In so doing, when the DJ changes the music selection, the headphones also change colours, thus creating a fascinating ambience of the evening.

Organised by Talent Factory, a local events company, the show takes place every last Friday of the month.

Partygoers will be entertained DJ Anita Pendo, DJ Pius, DJ Clean, DJ Waxy, DJ Ashirumatic, DJ Karim as well as DJ Phil Peter.

"It’s a silent Disco that brings together top DJs in the city. People already know we always bring them the best music on the plates and, for that, I only expect everyone to enjoy every music playlist from our decks and we are ready to give them full entertainment,” said DJ Phil Peter.

Entrance fee is Rwf5 000 [single] and Rwf8 000 [couple] and Rwf10 000 (VIP).
