Else where, defending champions Atraco recorded their first victory after a disappointing exit from the African Champions league at the hands on Sudan El Merreikh after a controversial 3-2 win over Police.

Police striker Rogers Tuyisenge opened the scoring and Hamis Kitagenda equalizer before recess.

Jonathan Mbaze scored the second goal for Police  before Ugandan international Johnson Bagoole and Robert Mugabe netted the second and third goals for Sam Timbe’s side.

Despite the win, the champions remain in second spot with 31 points, two points behind leaders APR.

The other league title favorites Rayon Sport won 1-0 for the third time in a row when Tanzanian striker Joseph Kaniki scored the winner on his return from a knee injury.

The blues are third with 29 points, two behind Atraco.
Meanwhile, Mukura defeated SC Kiyovu 21 to move to fifth position with 19 points.
