Etincelles Vs AS Kigali 15:00

Etincelles head coach Innocent Seninga has challenged his players to quickly return to winning ways when they face AS Kigali in the Rwanda Premier League on Wednesday.

Kick-off 3pm, at Umuganda Stadium.

The Rubavu-based side will be looking to make the most of home advantage after their disappointing 3-0 defeat to APR on match-day 3 last week.

"We want to win the game,” said the former Police coach. "We were outplayed by APR because my players did not follow my instructions, but we have since talked about it and tried to fix all the mistakes.”

Etincelles who are sitting in sixth place with six points – on the 16-team table – are widely seen as favourites as they host AS Kigali who have only collected two points in three games.

"We are well-prepared for AS Kigali, and I have confidence in my players to execute our game plan properly. Many think that we are favourites, but that is not how I see it,” Seninga noted.

"AS Kigali are a big team with good players, we can’t take them lightly. We will just do our best and try utilising every chance we get to win the game.”

Etincelles striker Rashid Mutebi leads the top-scorers’ list with four goals, one better than Jimmy Kibengo (Bugesera) and APR striker Danny Usengimana.
