Sunday Sunrise 4-1 Espoir Heroes 2-1 Muhanga Musanze 1-1 Kiyovu  Gicumbi 1-3 Mukura

Sunrise registered a comfortable 4-1 win over hapless Espoir at Nyagatare Stadium on Sunday as Rwanda Premier League returned from international break.

Pius Mwangi and Samson Babua scored twice each to power the Nyagatare-based side to their first victory this season, while Fred Kyambadde netted the consolation goal for the visitors.

After four-match rounds, Sunrise have four points, while struggling Espoir have only picked a solitary point as they lie in 15th position on the 16-team table.

In other matches, newcomers Heroes beat AS Muhanga 2-1, Mukura dominated bottom side Gicumbi 3-1, whereas Musanze held SC Kiyovu to a 1-all draw.

The league action continues Tuesday as champions Rayon Sports will be up against Bugesera at Kigali Stadium, with APR visiting Marines at Umuganda Stadium.
