Straight from England on a trip, Israel Mbonyi, one of Rwanda’s biggest gospel musicians, has released the video for his much-awaited single, ‘Nturi Wenyine’, which is loosely translated as, "You are not alone.”

His new track is now gaining traction on the Rwandan airwaves. The song talks about giving adoration to God and extolling His attributes. It also emphasizes that there is no one greater than God, hence He deserves to be worshipped.

"I got the inspiration from the biblical parable of the prodigal son, who thought he had gone far away from his father, he realized that he had a loving father and chose to return to him, ”he told Saturday Times

Nturi Wenyine’ features collaborations by Bruce Higiro, Mastola and Kevin McNoldy. The video was produced by Bob Chris.

The song is expected to strengthen people’s faith in God and acknowledge His greatness.

Mbonyi has been singing in church since he was a youngster, and has been actively involved in ministry for the past four years. He is best known for songs like ‘Ku Migezi y’i Babylon, ‘Yankuyeho Urubanza’, Number One’, ‘Ibihe’, and ‘Ndanyuzwe’, among others.
