Gisagara volleyball club have begun early preparations ahead of the 2019/2020 national volleyball league, which kicks off on November 9.

The two-time champions, who finished second last season, will be hoping to reclaim the championship following the recent signing of right-attacker Lawrence Yakan Guma and Uganda international Malinga Kathbart.

In an interview with Times Sport, Gisagara coach Pierre Marshal Kwizera said that his side’s ultimate target next season is to win the league title, but they will also try to win titles of every tournament they engage in – starting with the preseason tournament on November 2-3.

"We will not leave anything to chance next season; that is why we started preparations earlier than other teams in the league.”
