Thomas Muyombo, aka Tom Close, has just released a new song called "Impa’’ on which he features one of Burundi’s top artistes B-Face.

The song is a love ballad in which he talks about the amazing beauty of a certain girl, and how the lover would love to keep her to himself day and night.

Shot outside of Kigali City, the song is a mixture of Kinyarwanda and Kirundi, but with a touch of many reggaeton songs. B-Face focuses mainly on the verses whereas Tom Close takes on the chorus.

Tom Close told The New Times that there are various solo projects he is working on at the moment and are likely to be released any time before the end of the year, as the videos are already shot and only waiting on release.

Tom Close also promised his fans to look out for the different concerts he will perform at as he is not planning on doing a concert of his own.

Asked about how he manages to balance music and his job as a medical doctor in a high position, he explained that it is not hard at all as it is something he has been doing for some time now.

"It is actually very easy for me as I get to plan my schedule and know what to do when. Unlike in college when I had a schedule made by someone to follow, I get to make my schedules and follow them so it is really not hard,’’ he said.

Tom Close thanked his fans for supporting him all the time and advised them to keep listening, loving and sharing his music with everyone as they wait for what he has in store for them.
