Francis Haringingo has fired warning to Rayon Sports as he looks to guide his Police side to this year’s Agaciro Development Fund tournament glory.

The law enforcers, who signed Haringingo from Mukura in June, face holders Rayon at Amahoro National Stadium on Friday – for a spot in Sunday’s final.

"We want to win the title and boost our morale ahead of next season. Agaciro Cup is an important tournament, my players are ready to give everything on the pitch,” said the Burundian tactician who guided Mukura to their 2018 Peace Cup title.

It was the club’s first major title in 28 years.

The fourth edition of the annual Agaciro Cup showpiece will be vied for by top four teams from the 2018/2019 Rwanda Premier League season; Rayon, APR, Mukura and Police.

The clash between Rayon and Police, which will get underway at 3:30pm, will be preceded by another highly anticipated encounter pitting last year’s finalists APR and Mukura.

Winners of the 2019 Agaciro Cup will pocket Rwf 3 million, first runners-up take home Rwf 1.5million, while the second runners-up will receive Rwf500,000.

Rayon clinched the tournament’s 2018 title for a second successive year after beating APR 1-0 in the final.
