Rwanda international left-back Abouba Sibomana has completed his move to Kenya Premier League side, Wazito football club, on a one-year deal.

Wazito are newcomers in the Kenyan topflight league – for the upcoming 2019/2020 season – following their recent promotion from the second tier.

For Sibomana, who was released by APR this month, he sees Wazito as a new opportunity to steer up his declining football career, and, he says, he looks forward to the challenge.

Kenyan football is not new for Sibomana as he previously played for heavyweights Gor Mahia for two seasons before parting company in 2017.

Besides Sibomana, the club have also acquired the services of his former Rayon Sports teammate, Burundi international Karim ‘Mackenzi’ Nizigiyimana, also on a one-year contract.

According to reports in Kenya, the team’s Sporting Director Solomon Alubala has been a busy man scouting both young and experienced talents to boost chances of competing favorably among the best teams in the league.
