Goalkeeper Marcel Nzarora has joined Mukura Victory Sports from fellow league side Musanze FC penning a two-year deal with the Huye-based side.

According to the Mukura’s secretary general Theodate Siboyintore, Nzarora’s signing is part of a broader rebuilding plan.

"We signed him after Omar Rwabugiri joined APR because we needed a good goalkeeper who can help the team. He’s an experienced player who’ll be important for the team,” said Siboyintore.

The 24-year-old was part of Rwanda’s U-17 team that took part in the 2011 Fifa World Cup held in Mexico. He has previously played for Isonga, Rayon Sports and Police and Musanze.

Other players that have recently joined Mukura include Evode Ntwari (from APR), Ramadhan Ndayisenga (from Marines), Ramadhan Niyonkuru (from Musanze) and former Police skipper Patrick Umwungeri.

The club last week also signed Cameroonian Olivier Ovambe as their new head coach on a two-year deal.

Mukura finished third last season.
