Just as the residents of Huye in Southern Province were excited and eagerly waiting for the Iwacu Muzika festival that is heading to the area, a change has been made.

The show was set to feature a list of renowned local artistes including Urban Boyz, Bull Dog, Active, Rafiki, François Nsengiyumva,  Victor Rukotana, and Cécile Kayirebwa, but the Rwandan cultural music icon has pulled out at the last minute over health concerns.

In a statement by the East African Promoters, who are organising the festival, it has been confirmed that the Belgium-based Rwandan singer will not be able to headline the festival, due to fatigue.

The Tarihinda singer was supposed to make an appearance this Saturday, July 13, at Iwacu Muzika festival.

However, with singer Kayirebwa pulling out, Clarisse Karasira and Ochestra Impala have found themselves on the lineup of entertainers that will perform at the University of Rwanda stadium, in Huye.  The show that is set to be held in all provinces of the country, has already taken place in Musanze and Rubavu districts.

Everyone will have access to the venue at no charge, except those that will opt for the VIP section, who will have to pay Rwf2000.  Gates will be open at exactly 1pm, and people should look out toward to an electrifying performance.
