Rwanda Vs Egypt 11am

The women’s senior national basketball team will be looking to end their poor showing on a positive note when they face Egypt in their final Afrobasket qualifiers match on Saturday.

The game starts at 11am, at MTN Logogo Arena in Kampala, Uganda.

After two matches, Moise Mutokambali’s side are yet to register a victory after losing 80-92 to Uganda on Thursday and 53-62 to Uganda on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, their men’s team counterparts – who seek qualification to the Afrocan – take on Kenya on Sunday, starting at 3pm, after humbling Tanzania 97-43 on Thursday.

The best team, in each category, will earn a ticket to Afrocan and Afrobasket, respectively.

The inaugural FIBA Afrocan tournament will be held in Bamako, Mali, from July 19-28, while the 2019 Women’s AfroBasket is due on August 9-18 in Senegal.
