J-Dub releases John 3:16 today

All roads lead to Wakanda Villa in Kabeza for the launch of J-Dub Nkera’s debut album, John 3:16.

The up and coming J-Dub "El Fazo”, real name, John R Nkera, has been on the scene for some time now, releasing several mix tapes like ‘Dub Therapy’, which was released in 2013 and ‘Memoirs of a Mad Rapper’ which was made public in 2016.

 His debut Album, John 3:16 is a 16 track album with thirteen tracks and three bonus tracks. Malaika Uwamahoro, K’ru, Bushali. Don Nova, Prime, are some of the musicians who feature on the album.

"My album is a collection of a number of songs that I have worked on since August last year. I have worked on for this album’s production with all the passion that I have for music. I hope it takes my listeners back to the golden era of hip hop.

For the show at Wakanda Villa today, there are five artists lined up to perform alongside J-Dub like; Prime, Chase, and many others.

"I can assure you I’ve prepared an engaging type of show for my fans so that they can get to know connect with Hip Hop like never before and also know me as an artiste,” said J-Dub.

For those who want to go home with some souvenir, there will be albums on sell at the venue. Entrance is Rwf 3,000 and the show starts at 6pm.
