Remera-based Fuchsia Bar and Lounge has organised yet another edition of silent disco, this time to celebrate Eid.

The popular hangout says the silent disco, which will feature the best DJs in town, who will share the same stage, will be one of the best.

Several DJs, including DJ Miller, DJ Kadir, DJ Toxxyk, Veejay Nano, Veejay Mupenzi, DJ Ira, DJ Max, DJ Bloww and DJ Fidela, have been lined up to entertain silent disco lovers this Friday, at the popular joint commonly known as "Kwa Jules”.

According to Brigitte Kanyange, who owns the spot with her husband Jules Kalisa, silent disco has proved to be popular with revellers because it gives them a variety.

"This is the third time we’re organising the silent disco, and the first time on Eid al-Fitr. So, since the previous editions took place on Christmas, we thought it would be great to organise something special for our Muslim sisters and brothers as they continue to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. Also, the performances will be inside the bar, not on the streets as it has been. The night promises to be bigger and better bringing the best DJs in town,” she noted.

Last Christmas, Fuchsia hosted the biggest edition of silent disco which attracted hoards of people who enjoyed music from the city’s best DJs including DJ Marnaud, Veejay Nano, Veejay Mupenzi, DJ Pius, DJ Kadir and many others who took turns on turntables to deliver the best mixes to the crowd.

According to the organisers, ordinary tickets will go for Rwf5,000, while VIP tickets will cost Rwf10,000. It is organised in conjunction with The Mane record label.
