REG                 Vs     Patriots              19:00 IPRC-Kigali     Vs    IPRC-South        21:00

It will be a clash of the giants when champions Patriots and bitter rivals Rwanda Energy Group (REG) face-off Friday night in the Bank of Kigali National Basketball League at Amahoro Stadium.

The game starts at 7pm.

The two local basketball heavyweights go into the match separated by just three points, with REG at the summit with 29 points after 15 games. Patriots have played one game less.

Patrick Ngwijuruvugo’s REG will not only be on quest for a crucial two points to confirm that they will go into play-off games as leaders, but they will also be on vengeance mission after losing 82-78 during the first-leg between the two sides last December.

After the highly anticipated encounter, arguably the country’s biggest basketball match, there will be played another league fixture pitting IPRC-Kigali and IPRC-South, starting at 9pm.

The hosts, IPRC-Kigali, are fifth-placed with 22 points, while IPRC-South are in seventh position on the nine-team table, with 19 points.
