As the world prepares to celebrate the Mothers’ Day on May 12, gospel music lovers are in for a treat.  Kingdom of God Ministries, a gospel choir is organising a concert for the launch of their latest album, at Kigali Cultural Village.

The event, dubbed ‘Victory Album Launch’, will bring together a lineup of several local gospel artistes from Rwanda to celebrate the day through praise and worship. They include Healing Worship Team, Alarm Ministries, Arsene Tuyi, Bosco Nshuti and Liza Kamikazi.

The concert will be headlined by Pastor Wilson Bugembe, who will entertain the audience with many of his songs which include Wanaaza, Tembeya, Miracle, and Bwalikujukira among many others.

Pastor and gospel music icon Wilson Bugembe from Uganda will be the main act at the concert.

Born and raised in Uganda in 1984, the singer went through a difficult childhood after being orphaned at a very young age. He has on many occasions shared a testimony about his life on the street and his path to success and is now a celebrated gospel musician.

According to Micheal Ngaga Sinkabumwe, one of the organisers of the event, the main inspiration behind the concert is to help people give glory to God, engage in worship and receive healing.

‘’I invite everyone to attend the event as we have an amazing lineup of artistes from within and outside Rwanda, come let’s talk to God through praise and worship and one thing for sure is that if you are battling anything in your life, you will leave transformed,’’ he told The New Times
