It is a song (click here to watch) many waited for, partly due to the controversy that surrounded its production after an upcoming artiste Dorcus Sunlight Ingabire, known as Sunny, claimed that RnB singer Bruce Melodie and video producer, Nameless Campos took her money amounting to $30,000 but never delivered.

There was drama two weeks ago after the upcoming female singer, who claimed to be on the verge of separating with her husband over to the song project, stormed a joint where Bruce Melodie and the video producer were hanging out and accused the duo of ‘sitting’ on her song.

Followed by cameras, Sunny alleged that the duo had dodged her for 5 months, despite forking out a sum of $30,000 to produce the audio and the video, as well as payment to both Bruce Melodie and Campos.

The Thailand-based upcoming singer alleged that the husband had told her to show the results of the money or leave their home, which prompted her to hunt down the two, at some point even confiscating their phones as Bruce Melodie begged the cameras to be turned off.

Bruce Melodie claimed he had done his part, but the remaining part was for the producer. Campos on the other hand said he had many projects but he was still working on Sunny’s song and would deliver.

When the video went viral, many argued that it was real while others said it was staged to promote the song ahead of the planned release.

Staged or not, on Monday night Bruce Melodie and Sunny outed the song which had sent tongues wagging, with many wondering how one would invest over Rwf27 million in one song.

The raunchy video and audio of the catchy tune, written by singers Danny Vumbi and Mico The Best was uploaded on Youtube on Monday and is fast gaining views with both Bruce Melodie and Sunny bragging that it will be the next big hit.

Many had laughed off Sunny’s music career that she can’t sing but from the look of things, "Kungola”, named after her first viral video in which she claimed to have forgotten Kinyarwanda after spending one year abroad, is likely to change her singing fortunes.
