APR HANDBALL CLUB COACH  Anaclet Bagirishya has warned that his side will be seeking to win the playoffs due next month.

The military side finished at the top of the pile in the just-concluded Eastern Province League.

Countrywide, four teams have reached the playoffs round which will be played on May 4 at Gituza grounds.

In the Eastern Province league, APR lead the table with 30 points followed by ADEGI with 22 points. In Western Province, Police lead with 30 points while Inyemeramihigo are second place with 21 points. 

Bagirishya told Times Sport that his side is capable of winning the title. "We have finished the Eastern Province league unbeaten and are fired up for the playoffs.”

Last year, Police were crowned champions after defeating APR 36-29.
