Editorial: Freedom for all

“Whoever the Son sets free is free indeed”- this is a quote from the Bible. This quote always reminds me of my freedom. Freedom simply means the state of being free. Children can be free to laugh, talk, play, study, have friends, homes and feel safe when with other people.

"Whoever the Son sets free is free indeed”- this is a quote from the Bible. This quote always reminds me of my freedom. Freedom simply means the state of being free. Children can be free to laugh, talk, play, study, have friends, homes and feel safe when with other people.

As you read this issue, you will notice that not all children are free. Some are bound and made to do things they do not like. These are children living in war zones. They are made to fight like soldiers.

Just like many well wishers are helping to stop the wars so that these children are free, we should also remind ourselves of all the good things we can do while we are free.

Children can use their freedom to help each other everyday. You can only do this if you know all your rights. These rights exist to ensure the freedom and protection of every child.

This week, I will encourage everyone to discover and learn their rights so that no one exploits you.
