Rwandan quartet to handle Uganda v Ethiopia match

Rwanda’s four female football referees have been picked to officiate at the second-leg match between Uganda and Ethiopia in the Africa women’s football qualifiers for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

The game takes place Saturday at Lugogo Stadium in Kampala.

The quartet will be led by centre referee Aline Umutoni while her twin sister, Alice Umutesi, and Sandrine Murangwa Usenga will be the assistant referees.

FIFA Women World Cup candidate referee Salma Mukasanga will be the fourth referee.

Ethiopia won the first-leg 3-2 in Addis Ababa.

The winner between the two sides will automatically advance to the second round where they will meet Cameroon.
