Gentile Misigaro seems determined to take his ministry to another level.

The Canada-based Rwandan gospel musician staged his first ever musical tour in the country about a month ago, where he enjoyed massive turn-up at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village, which was one of the venues for his concerts.

Since then, he has embarked on recording his second album, a project he hopes to accomplish before he returns to Canada, next week.

So far, he has recorded four singles, out of the eight that will comprise the album.

Being a producer himself, the artiste is co-producing the songs alongside producer Bruce, from his studio in Kibagabaga, a suburb of Kigali.

The Tuzaririmba tubonye Yesu star, says he has not yet decided on the name for his latest album.

Iyombimenya(if I had known), one of the tracks on my album, reminds people to be grateful to God. In human nature, we seem to spend more time complaining or whining, than we spend thanking God for His goodness, and the great things He does for us,” he said.

The other songs include, Ntarindi zina, a collaboration with local artiste Serge Iyamuremye, and Mfite impanvu ibihumbi, among others.

Speaking about his recent tour, Misigaro said it was "really amazing.”

"It went beyond my expectations. I didn’t expect a big turn-up. I visited a few mega churches here and social gatherings and people knew the songs, even those I hadn’t expected them to know,” he said.

"The love the people showed me was overwhelming and the support from musicians was incredible,” he added.

Misigaro says the tour stirred more passion and motivated him to do more. When he releases his album later this year, he plans to take his tour to Europe in the summer and Australia at the end of the year, before he returns to Rwanda next year for another tour, which will also take him to other regional countries.
