Gisagara Vs All Stars 6pm

Local volleyball giants Gisagara face a select All-Star team in a warm-up match on Wednesday as part of their preparations for the upcoming Men’s African Club Championship.

The 2019 edition of the annual tournament is slated for March 31-April 11 in Cairo, Egypt.

The game will kick off at 6pm, at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.

The club’s assistant coach Elam Byiringiro reckons that playing against the all-star players from big local clubs will give his side the necessary test ahead of the African championships.

"The match is a good platform for our players to raise their fitness level for the competition,” said Byiringiro

He also revealed that Gisagara will have another friendly match against Egyptian side Canal on Saturday.

The Gisagara District-sponsored side are training, two drills a day, at Amahoro Stadium, and will be jetting to Egypt on Friday.

Meanwhile, Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) finished in 10th position at the Women’s African Club Championship which concluded Sunday in Egypt.
