Saturday

Kirehe           Vs    Amagaju    15:30

Musanze       Vs    Gicumbi     15:30

Etincelles      Vs    Espoir         15:30

AMAGAJU caretaker Coach Abdallah ‘Janot’ Hategekimana is convinced that his side will increase their chances of surviving relegation by beating Kirehe in the Azam Rwanda Premier League on Saturday.

The battle to stay in the top flight takes a dramatic twist between Kirehe and Amagaju as both sides want to move out of the relegation zone, with five match rounds to the end of the 2018-19 season.

Hategekimana, who concedes that his team will be the one under pressure, has tipped his players to get the ‘needed result’ despite playing the fixture away from home, at Kirehe grounds. The game starts at 3:30pm.

"I’m well aware of the immense pressure that the players will be under, but I’m confident that we will beat Kirehe,” he said before adding, "Only a win can give us motivation to do better in the next matches and that is what we will be going for.”

Amagaju are second from the bottom of the 16-team table with 15 points and a win [against Kirehe] will lift them to 14th position at the expense of 14th-placed Gicumbi who have 17 points. The latter travel to Ubworoherane Stadium for another league clash against Musanze.

Kirehe are bottom of the table with 14 points.
