Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) have been placed in Group C at the 2019 Women's African Clubs Championship in Cairo, Egypt.

The continental tournament starts today and will be climaxing on March 26.

Christophe Mudahinyuka’s tax collectors side will have a stiff competition to overcome as they have been drawn in the same group with Kenyan powerhouse and six-time African champions Pipeline, Egyptian side Shooting and FAP of Cameroon.

The seven-time reigning champions of the domestic league will begin their group campaign against Pipeline on Sunday. Kick-off 4pm CAT.

The best two teams from each of the four groups will advance to knock-outs, starting from the round of last eight on Thursday next week.

RRA finished in fifth position at the 2018 edition of the annual tournament, which was also staged in Egypt and won by home side Al Ahly after edging Carthage of Tunisia in the final.
